Duncan J.D. Smith and Horst Prillinger will present and talk about their work

DUNCAN J.D. SMITH
Having worked for many years in the publishing industry selling other travel writers’ books, Duncan J. D. Smith decided in 2003 to start writing and illustrating his own. As an ‘Urban Explorer’, travel writer, historian and photographer he has embarked on a lifetime’s adventure, travelling off the beaten track in search of the world’s unusual people and places, from the back streets of Vienna and the bunkers of Berlin to the deserts of Jordan and the spice farms of Zanzibar. His ´Online in…` travel guides were published by the Brandstätter Verlag.

HORST PRILLINGER
Horst Prillinger initiated the collective novel ´Messages From the Lost Continent` – a literary experiment he continued with two other writers. In addition Prillinger, who is a librarian at the University of Vienna, published the short story collection ´The Happiest Guy in the World`, the poetry collection ´Cursed`, and the crime story ´Mr Singh Has Disappeared`.
