Singer Elina Viluma (Latvia) and piano player Matyas Bartha (Hungary) met each other 5 years ago, when they both started their studies in Graz at the jazz institute of the University of Music and Performing Arts.

Since the very beginning they developed a close friendship and a musical connection. Over the years it has grown into a great musical adventure of exploring the fine art of jazz vocal-piano duo. As a duo, they had the chance to study with internationally renowned artists like Dena DeRose, Michael Abene and Sheila Jordan, which has helped them to develope their own individual sound.

Their wide repertoire includes old standards, songs from the “Great American Song Book” and modern jazz tunes. Without an effort they make these songs sound like their own. The atmosphere they create is something you should definitely experience.s
