Thighpaulsandra (ex-COIL) live in Vienna

Thighpaulsandra was born in Pontypridd, South Wales, to a musical family. His mother was an opera singer, one grandfather a church organist and the other a conductor and French horn virtuoso. He spent his teenage years at Christ College Brecon, where he studied piano and organ. Then, after training to become a Registered Mental Nurse, as well as a piano tuner and restorer, he eventually secured the position of house engineer at Loco Studios in Caerleon. Over the years, Thighpaulsandra has worked with Julian Cope and Spiritualized, and then became a member of the legendary COIL alongside Jhonn Balance and Peter Christopherson. His works have been releases on labels such as Eskaton (Coil's label), Lumberton trading Company, Klanggalerie and most recently Editions Mego. This is the first Thighpaulsandra concert in Vienna. Support comes from American/Austrian electrionics project HIROSHIMABEND.
