Fish Basket

Fish Basket is a three-piece band formed in 2015, but the final lineup was formed in 2018. The band consists of Oskar „Osa“ Gross on bass, Piotr Wicher on guitar and Rafał „Werner“ Weinert on drums. The team has its base in Katowice. The music performed by the band is often described as instrumental post-rock, stoner-rock, experimental rock or progressive rock.
However, the band itself readily admits that they like to combine all the genres they want. The self-titled debut album was released on December 5, 2019. The band does not have a contract with any label yet. While still actively performing, they supported stars such as Stoned Jesus and Tides From Nebula.

My Solace Lies

MY SOLACE LIES is a band from the small village Wundschuh in Styria, Austria. Now, all four musicians have settled down in bigger cities like Graz or Vienna and are trying to make an impact on the musical world with their post-alternative-rock sound since 2013. They started out as a five-piece band and played shows as supporting act for hidden gems like „GinGa“, „Blank Manuskript“ or „Arcane Roots“ from the UK. In late 2015 they released their first EP with the title „whoever said it’s a fair battle, lied“ as do it yourself.
Since 2016 my solace lies consists of their current four-piece line up. This went along with a slight change in their musical style, which can best be heard on their debut album album „authorised absence“ that was released 2018 on the label „pumpkin records“. After some shows in the following year, for example as supporting act for the austrian band „le_mol“, „Tides of Man“ from the US and the
polish postrock giants „Tides from Nebula, the EP „atlas“ and the second album „authorised presence“ were recorded in several studio sessions. On their latest record, also released on „pumpkin records“, they stayed true to their melancholic sound while you can hear the musical progression to the predecessor.

Slothmachine

SLOTHMACHINE, the contradiction of inertia and efficiency, is the newest progressive and permanent contribution to the Austrian band scene. With their first album ‚Enjoy The Fall‘ they presented themselves to the world in order to conquer it or join in it’s demise.
Lyrically reminiscent of childhood fever dreams, the compositions impose only superficially as classic rock anthems and reveal baroque qualities and sea shanty impressions. The melodies are an elegy to the lost world or an ode to the one not born yet.
